The origins of our alpine resort – from mountain farm to feel-good resort
1964 – Purchase of the former mountain farm by Joachim and Anna Berger
1966 – Opening of the snack station Baumschlagerberg
1972 – Expansion of today’s road to the snack station and construction of the ski lift
1982 – The snack station officially becomes “Almgasthof Baumschlagerberg”
Addition of the dining room and expansion of the upstairs rooms
The sauna area and the games room are created
The house chapel is being built
1996 – Modernization of all rooms, modification of the kitchen and the sauna area
2001 – Nikolaus Berger takes over the “Almgasthof Baumschlagerberg” from his parents
2003 – Construction of the first four alpine huts
2006 – The modern seminar house is being built
2007 – Construction of the first panorama hut
2014 – Renovation and modernization of the bar, of the panorama-parlor and the dining room
2016 – Closing of the Almgasthof for external non-house guests and change to a hotel business only for
house guests of the Almresort
2017 – Full renovation of the rooms, the apartment and of all cabins and apartments
Connection of the alpine resort to the fiber optic network
2018 – The exquisit wellness-Area (incl. out-door pool) was opened in summer.
In Autum the Panoramic-Chalet was built and opened.
2019 – We received the 5th Flower for “Farm Holidays”!
2021 – Renovation of the former Almappartements to “Almsuits”
